R U experienced? We have a drop in program for people who simply want a studio to work in a self guided manner and an amazing community to surround yourself with. The current waitlist is kinda long but worth getting on!

Studio Drop-in

This option is for self-guided students with ceramics experience looking to work in a communal studio. Though there will be a trained pro on site, the drop-in hours are for students looking to have access to a studio and just work at their own pace. Right now, because of covid, things are a little different. We ask that people sign up for a weekly time slot, and during that time there are 2-3 others (so 3-4 folks total) in at a time. The time slots are either on saturday am+pm, Monday pm, Tuesday daytime or pm or Thursday pm (depending on where there is room)  The cost is $145 per month and that includes glazing and firing but not clay. We ask that you buy clay from us that we have at the studio, we fire at cone 6. The spirit of drop in at the studio is to learn and explore, not to sell. So no production work or selling outside of the studio website (this is something new that is in the works but not up and running quite yet). We have 6 shimpo whisper wheels and lots of handbuilding tools and tables and an extruder.  Everyone gets a little cubby and a shelf to store work/tools/clay on. You must get their own small tools (or I can get them next time I do an order from the pottery store) just to cut down on stuff we all touch. Communal tools will be sanitized. Everyone is required to wash their hands upon arrival, wear a mask and we’ve got fans and doors open to move around the air.
